Latest No Dine-In Orders from Governor Ivey & ADPH: Orders designed to limit crowds and promote social distancing are now in place for a six-county area in central Alabama. Gov. Kay Ivey's office announced the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) is prohibiting any restaurant, bar or brewery in the six-county area from serving food or drink on premises. The regulations, designed to limit the spread of coronavirus, will be reevaluated after one week . The order covers Jefferson, Tuscaloosa, Walker, Blount, St. Clair and Shelby counties. Many chains have already implemented this change and the Alabama Department of Public Health encouraged that other counties follow these recommendations in the latest press conference this morning. 2. #carryoutwednesday Now Trending on Social Media The idea is to encourage people to order out tomorrow. Small Business Administration Economic Injury Disaster Assistance Loans In order for Alabama to be eligible for the SBA's Economic Injury Disaster Assistance Loans, we need letters to the Governor from all counties requesting the assistance. Whether you need the money for liquidity now or not, please download this letter. Put the letter on your letterhead, fill in your county and add your name and title. Email to us and we will deliver to the Department of Commerce to facilitate Alabama getting the help it needs. 5.
